Sacraments are outward and visible signs of the inward and invisible Grace of God.
Through the Sacrament of Baptism, the believer is welcomed into the universal Christian church, which is the Body of Christ. In Baptism, we identify with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ by dying to sin and rising in Him. God works, in us, the power of forgiveness, the renewal of the Spirit and the promise to be God's people always. The congregation of Riga Church celebrates the Sacrament of Baptism of children, at the request of their parents/guardians, and of believers of every age by declaration.
The Lord's Supper
Through the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper, we remember the table fellowship Jesus shared with his disciples, especially the final meal, before his arrest. In the Lord's Supper, Christians hear, taste, touch and receive the Grace of God through Jesus Christ in a wonderful, unique way. The congregation of Riga Church celebrates the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper on the first Sunday of each month during worship and special services during the Christian year.
